Fifth grade homework packet

Week 1 of our series contains 5 days of independent activities in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies for fifth grade. This independent study packets includes such activities as comparing character traits, learning about the time zones in the United States, and learning about liquid volume using measuring cups, among others.

They cover the entire fifth grade curriculum, so if doesn’t matter if your student is struggling with math, reading, writing, science, or social studies, he’ll find worksheets that will help him overcome any and all challenges as he prepares to make the leap to middle school.

Let’s face it: The last thing any fifth grader wants is more homework. But because there are so many different components to fifth grade, many students inevitably hit a knowledge road block. And when that happens, the best way to get around it is with more practice. Of course, that’s really not something fifth-graders want to hear.
